About Eric Fox
Imagine being told that, within a few short years, every muscle in your body will fail until you can no longer move or even breathe...
Imagine becoming too weak to button your shirt, to make a sandwich, to hold a phone, to drive a car, to hug your wife, or to play with your children.
Imagine having a young family to raise but no longer being able to work.
Our friend and family member, Eric Fox, doesn’t need to imagine these things. He was diagnosed in May 2007 with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease (a fatal neuromuscular disease with no known cure).
Eric began having symptoms over 3 years ago. The average life expectancy for one with this diagnosis is less than 5 years from the onset of symptoms.
Eric is a Michigan native and Jenison resident, a loving husband and father, a member and former employee of Wellspring Community Church in Hudsonville, a Gulf War veteran, an alumni of Davenport University, an avid sports fan and youth coach, and a man with a passion for God and people.
He is trusting in the Lord for his future. For more about Eric visit his web site at www.ericfox.us
